Is sponsored placement SRA-compliant?+
Yes. Sponsored slots are clearly labelled as paid placements at the top of search results, in line with the SRA Code of Conduct on transparency and the ASA CAP Code. Editorial rankings never read sponsorship status — that is the compliance moat.
What does "Gold" and "Featured" mean?+
Gold is the single top-of-results placement for a given (jurisdiction or city) × practice area. Featured is the band immediately below — up to 3 per jurisdiction-wide scope, up to 5 per city-wide scope.
Do I have to commit to a year?+
No. All placements are billed monthly via Stripe. Cancel any time — your slot remains active until the end of the billing period.
Do you offer payouts through Stripe Connect for booked consultations?+
Yes. We use Stripe Connect Express for client payments. Funds are held in escrow during the consultation and released to your linked account when both you and the client confirm completion.
Can a barrister claim a profile?+
Yes — BSB-registered barristers can claim a profile and accept direct-access work. For Scotland, members of the Faculty of Advocates and for NI, members of the Bar of Northern Ireland.
What if a competitor has already taken the Gold slot for my city + practice area?+
You can take a Featured slot, an adjacent city, the jurisdiction-wide tier, or join the waitlist for when the Gold slot comes up for renewal.
